1794 S-59 R3 Head of 1794 F12A cent with light to moderate wear but the planchet is covered with fine roughness augmented by a patch of corrosion on the bust and a smaller patch at the rim over the end of the pole. Partly glossy olive brown with lighter brown on the highpoints and a streak of reddish brown in the field below the cap. Otherwise rather nice, and the eye appeal is better than the description implies. M-LDS, Breen state V late, Heck 7, with a very bold die crack at the bottom of the reverse, and the section outlined by the crack has shifted outward. This is the Heck plate coin for the die state in his 2022 reference on the die states of 1794 cents. Graded VF30 net VG7 by Noyes, his photo #32135. A really neat die state.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex Willard C. Blaisdell-Fred H. Borcherdt Collection
